OUR Work

  • The 3-Point Plan
The 3-Point Plan to Unite America is a call for elected officials to act with speed, precision, and courage to save our country. The Plan highlights action priorities from the multigenerational Black American perspective. The Plan highlights THREE [3] critical areas to improve the stability, security, and quality-of-life of the descendant community & our neighbors. Implement the plan.
    Affirmative action
The June 2023 SCOTUS decision about affirmative action brings the U.S. and its institutions closer to the original intent of the post-civil war 14th amendment, Freedmen civil rights acts of the 1860’s, and Negro-driven affirmative actions of the 1960’s civil rights movement. Support the four calls-to-action by launching Freedmen Affirmative Action in your public or private institution. You can download a copy of the letter to send the calls to action to schools in your area.
    Become a MEmber
Are you a multigenerational Black American interested in raising your voice in advocacy for full implementaion and enforcement of lineage-specific equity to the descendants of U.S. chattel slaves/free Negroes? Join The Coalition for free. All we ask for is your engagement.
The Coalition of Concerned Freedmen™ is a voluntary association of the descendants of emancipated U.S. chattel slaves and descendants of free American Negroes with ethnogenesis in the U.S. from the 1776-1865 antebellum era through present. The Coalition is committed to delivery on the promise of a comprehensive package of reparatory policy, practices, and financial appropriations to redress the impacts of chattel slavery, Jim Crow, and ongoing discrimination against multigenerational Black Americans. Our work with institutions and national, state, and local governments ensures reparative implementation and full enforcement of the citizenship rights and protected class status of the descendant community.
  • In Support of Justice thomas
In summer of 2022, The Coalition of Concerned Freedmen™ was honored to join likeminded Black thought leaders in an open letter condemning racist attacks against Justice Clarence Thomas, a U.S. Negro Freedmen and the second Black Supreme Court Justice in the United States of America.
    H.R. 4321 - WEAPONIZED GOVERNMENT
The bill introduced by Rep Babin (R- TX) calls to question violations of the 14th amendment. Specifically, using legislative power to thwart reparations for a specific protected class (Freedmen) calls into question if the proposal is an unqualifying act of insurrection against the Union (14A Clause 3) and if co-sponsors' actions are a violation of the 1st amendment and equal protections Clause 1 of the post-civil war 14th amendment. Read and Share The Coalition's ethics complaint concerning H.R. 4321 sent to the Office of Congressional Ethics, U.S. House of Representatives and The Coalition's news release about widespread violations of equal protections happening across the nation.
    Implementation & Enforcement
Now, as before, multigenerational Black American civic engagement is rooted in patriotism, the unity of states, and full implementation and enforcement of unalienable rights that our nation’s Founders, constitutional framers, and subsequent countrymen fought to secure. Take a stand for constitutional intent.

  • Read 40 Acres & A MUlE
Special Field Order 15 (aka 40 Acres & a Mule) was issued in January 1865 a few days after it was approved by President Abraham Lincoln. After the Confederates assassinated the President in April 1865, Andrew Johnson (a Confederate) rescinded Special Field Order 15. Johnson barely survived impeachment but did so with the help of newly re-sworn Confederates under oath to uphold the post-civil war social contract. Confederates did not keep their oath to the Union, obviously.
